Is it just me or are the new games just keep becoming gayer and gayer?
(MW2 Rant)
The 'hip' game right now is MW2, its fun, but damn it fucking lacks personal skill, easy as fuck to aim and everyone dies in 2-3 shots. Not including snipers. Speaking of snipers it's one shot to the body for a kill.. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was fun for the small amount of time I got to play it, it's just so easy to kill people. Pissed me the fuck off when people kept on busting out dual fucking lever action shotguns and killing me 30 feet away in one blast. (WTF DUEL LEVER ACTION MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE.) Oh yeah and that's a fucking secondary. 2 shotguns for a secondary... that's.. fucking smart. Good thinkin'.
(MW2 rant over)
Ever since Fallout 3 came out I can only think of one game that I really really want to play and thats L4D2.
People have learned that there is so much room for being creative in the gaming, but it's been so long and games just seem to be about money now, there hasn't been many gaming companies that realizes that the shit takes time.
So yeah, I've been losing hope in the gaming industry. All major games seem to have a 3 year deadline. I don't know why.. but just seems like Microsoft gives a lot of the games it has control over 3 years. I'm not very math-o-matical but as games keep getting more advance and need more and more small details to be worked on... why are they constantly making games in around the same time period as they were during the last generation? Pisses me off.
The last multi-player game that I really liked was Shadowrun... it got shot down by ignorance..
Halo 3 was alright...
I guess it's a good thing because I've been focusing on other things anyway. Need to also.
I think after I get settled with a good job, I'm going to get some college done and learn how to make games.. I'd want to make an extremely realistic single player/RPG/co-op/extremely complex and customizable game (to me games like rainbow six aren't that realistic.) or make a game similar to shadowrun, except I'll leave the cartooniness out, I believe it had a lot to do with why it didn't get much attention.
I'll be surprised if any of you guys read this.. This is pretty much a random bunch of thoughts + I'm not a very good writer. haha.
Pretty cool that this site is still up though.
If any of you guys read this though, you should post/reply with a list of games on the 360 that you have and games that you're going to get. I'm slightly out of the loop.
